Hardcopy Maps and Data on Disk
A number of the City’s widely used maps can be purchased in hardcopy (paper) format. All are in a large format (32″ high x 42″ wide). Also, any electronic GIS data that does not contain private information can be provided on Compact Disk (CD) or Digital Video Disk (DVD). Both products must be ordered in advance by calling the Planning and Development Department at (512)930-3575. There is typically a three business day turnaround. Products can be picked up at the front desk of the Planning and Development Department located at the Georgetown Municipal Center: 300 Industrial Avenue; Georgetown, Texas; 78626. Disks can also be shipped for an additional charge.

Current digital aerial imagery is available for purchase as a complete set on DVD. This 2006 imagery covers all of the City Limits and most of the City’s extraterritorial jurisdiction (ETJ). Two-foot interval topographic contours are also included in the DVD set. Please note that aerial images are stored in electronic files and are intended for use by GIS software, computer assisted drafting (CAD) software, or related types of software. Files sizes may be too large for viewing in many standard software packages.

GIS data on CD or DVD: $10 for one GIS dataset plus $5 for each additional dataset.
Digital aerial imagery (complete set plus two-foot elevation contours): $275
